Warranty Coverage:
X-TRAILERS will repair or replace, free of charge, parts where faults are deemed to be defect in manufacture or X-TRAILERS workmanship.
X-TRAILERS will repair or replace, free of charge the purchased trailer where defects are prevalent in the structural integrity of the trailer inhibiting the intended use of said product.
X-TRAILERS reserves the right to make a full assessment of the Trailer prior to any agreed action here in to ensure compliance on the buyer's behalf with regard to use and function
One Year parts warranty,Five Years structural warranty unless voided before end date.

Buyer Responsibilities:
Presenting this Warranty is a requirement of any work performed
For the warranty to be Valid X-TRAILERS will repair the trailer and/or defective part where the trailer and/or part has been returned to the manufacturer in Auckland X-TRAILERS Workshops
Enacting this warranty will be at the buyer's expense where transportation /freight to X-TRAILERS is required for any remedial action.
The terms of the warranty will be void should the trailer and/ or part not be returned to X-TRAILERS for repair. X-TRAILERS will not responsible for works carried out by another party-this will be at buyer's discretion.
Any remedial action within the terms of this Limited Warranty will be at the cost of X-TRAILERS.Where remedies are noted and assessed as the buyer's liability X-TRAILERS will inform the buyer and where applicable, negotiate fees for service or repairs.

The Following are not covered:
Galvanising, Tyres, Jockey Wheels and Batteries are not included in this limited warranty.


This is a RETURN to BASE/MANUFATURE Warranty:
for the warranty to be valid the trailer / part must be returned to X-TRAILERS

Warranty Exclusions:
This warranty extends to the original buyer only, Therefore non-transferable and will be voided if the trailer is sold on before the warranty expiration date.
This Limited Warranty is not an insurance policy and does not guarantee the buyer against theft or wilful damage.
Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accident or modifications
Structural damage resulting from excessive load i.e. buyer exceeded the recommended load capacity
Warranty will be voided should the buyer not maintain Warrant of Fitness standard and Registration 

REGULAR MAINTENANCE
The following schedule is recommended to keep the trailer in good condition. Maintenance requirements will vary depending on the circumstances in which the trailer is operating.

IMPORTANT: After the first 500 miles the brakes must be adjusted at the hubs to allow for initial bedding in. Failure to do this will permit the hitch damper to travel excessively and overheat causing premature failure which cannot be covered by our warranty.

Each 500 miles or 800 km:
Check the operation of the lights.
Check the tyre pressures.
Check that the wheel nuts are tight.
Check for missing hub grease caps and inspect for any damage.

Each 2500 miles or 4000km:
Adjust the brakes.
Lubricate the brake linkages.
Check the free movement of the brake cables.
Inspect for tyre wear.
Grease the overrun coupling and lubricate the jockey wheel.
Check the security of the axle and hitch mounting bolts.

Each 5000 miles or 8000km:
Remove the hubs and check the brake lining condition.
Check, re-grease and readjust tne wheel hub bearings.
Inspect the floor for signs of wear, the rear door catches and the general body condition.
